Thank you for your kind words! A discord channel is on the roadmap, but for now you can create issues on the GitHub page (link in the itch.io description). I look forward to seeing you in-game when that time comes!

Okay, I have a serious problem. Over the course of the past year, I have downloaded this game from multiple sites and the same thing happens. The first time I saw this game I fell in love and wanted to play it. I registered. I tried to login. Game crashes. I don't have a bad computer, so you can't blame it on the computer. One of two things happens: if I press enter while logging in (to confirm the password and continue) this message shows up:

############################################################################################
FATAL ERROR in
action number 1
of  Step Event0
for object obj_textbox_password:

global variable name 'player_id' index (100033) not set before reading it.
at gml_Object_obj_textbox_password_Step_0
############################################################################################

However, if i simply click the button to move on after putting in my information, this happens:

___________________________________________
############################################################################################
FATAL ERROR in
action number 1
of Mouse Event for Left Pressed
for object obj_login:

global variable name 'player_id' index (100033) not set before reading it.
at gml_Object_obj_login_Mouse_4
############################################################################################\

Thing is, if I just press login without putting in my information, NONE OF THIS HAPPENS. Its just when I put in my information. I have no idea why this happens, but I'd like and answer and a solution so I could auctually play your wonderful game.

Same error here. I'd like to try the game, it looks cool.

Its great to know this problem isn't just happening to me. To be honest I believe that the developers are not even trying to find a solution to this sadly. As I said, I've been trying for years, not just a few days.

yeah.. it’s sad to know. I hope that the developer will read this conversation!

Hello there! I was never expecting a response to my extremely early prototype. This upload was a proof-of-concept, but I have been working on putting out a pre-alpha. If you have any serious interest in this project let me know and I will dedicate more development time to it!

Yes! Please develop the game! I’m excited to try the game!

Oh wow, I never expected anybody to comment this early in development. Thank you for your interest! I ended up building a new prototype of Spirevale with a server created from scratch, so that I may scale up and add tons of new server-based features. The game is in a semi-playable state in singleplayer, and multiplayer allows you to see terribly animated players and chat with them. If you are seriously interested, I will dedicate more time to getting the first alpha out for you to play!

Thank you,
Sabbonaut
